Mystic Lake

As you locals know, it's been approximately 200 degrees here all week - toasty and humid (or, as Bostonians would say, "hot as a bastahd"). And unfortunately, to get to an actual beach requires lots of planning and time, since the nearest beach is close to an hour's drive away. BUT: we happen to live a mere four miles away from Mystic Lake - an untapped (relatively) trove of beachy goodness! L and I went there for the afternoon last weekend, and it was so lovely; a bit like Walden Pond with lots of little alcoves and trails around the perimeter.
