I feel so many emotions right now: elation, anxiety, fear, passion, empathy, pride. Never before have I felt this strongly about an election. I watched all the debates, read Time Magazine religiously, listened to NPR like it was going off-air, talked with family and friends about politics, and thought a lot about this country, these candidates, and myself.
And boy, I hope hope hope Mr. Obama will be declared the next President of the United States when all the votes are tallied.
Side note: Maybe it's because I live in Medford, or maybe it's because I voted at 2:30pm, but there was NOBODY at the elementary school where I voted. I feel happy but sort of guilty about that. Weird, huh?
